Diabetes, as you know, has now become a global disease affecting human lives in many countries. It is related to Obesity: obese people are more prone to develop Diabetes. So far, the reduction of obesity has been tried with risky surgical operations. Now, a non-surgical treatment for it has been devised. It aids also in reversing Diabetes (Type 2) that has its onset in a person just now!
Usually humans learn from animals and use those animals' technologies in machines, such as airplane etc. A bony fish uses a tactic to catch its prey that we humans use! It fishes(!) with an angling rod and a bait as we do in angling! The fish is the Anglerfish (Frogfish). It has a fleshy 'rod' hanging from its head that serves as a bait to lure the preys into its mouth and devour.
A different thing having unusual size, color or movement attracts always our attention towards it. A tiny bird with black color and jerky flights is an example for it. It is the Indian Robin (Saxicoloides fulicatus, 'Kallukkuruvi' in Tamil). It is found in open grounds perching on rocks, hopping around and catching insects. It keeps its tail always up; but occasionally wags it down.

Curious creatures are these ants, bees, wasps and termites. In and near every household of the world we meet one or more of them at any given time. All these come under one Order, Hymenoptera. There are much similarities than some dissimilarities among them. They are mostly social in nature and build colonies for themselves to dwell. Basically, in common (for example, ants) they have Workers, Soldiers, Kings (Drones) and Queens as members in their colonies.
